Amaroq Joins FTSE 250

Amaroq joined the FTSE 250 at market open on Thursday, October 8, following confirmation of its inclusion in the company’s October 6 production update.

Chief Executive Eldur Olafsson said the inclusion supported Amaroq’s decision to move from AIM to the London Stock Exchange’s Main Market.

“I am also very pleased to note the inclusion of Amaroq in the FTSE 250 Index; this clearly validates our strategy of moving our listing from AIM to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and will open us up to inclusion in further index tracking funds and the commensurate impact on liquidity of indexation,” Olafsson said.

The milestone follows third-quarter gold production of approximately 12,000 ounces at Amaroq’s Nalunaq mine in southern Greenland, reaching a quarterly level originally targeted for the final three months of 2026. Production totaled approximately 21,000 ounces in the first nine months, with full-year guidance unchanged at 25,000–35,000 ounces. Production update and FTSE 250 Index inclusion
