Amaroq Ltd. began trading on the London Stock Exchange’s Main Market on Friday, completing its move from AIM as the company advances gold production and a growing portfolio of strategic mineral projects across Greenland.
The company’s shares were admitted to the Financial Conduct Authority’s Official List and began trading on the Main Market at 8:00 a.m. on July 31. Trading on AIM ended at the same time.
No new shares were issued and no capital was raised through the move. Amaroq continues to trade under the ticker AMRQ, with 466,244,132 shares outstanding.
“Admission to the UK Main Market represents an important step in Amaroq’s evolution as a producing mining company,” CEO Eldur Olafsson said in the company’s announcement.

Olafsson said the listing should increase Amaroq’s international visibility, broaden its access to long term institutional capital and raise awareness of the opportunities it is developing in Greenland.
UK Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds also welcomed the listing, describing it as an example of Britain’s Critical Minerals Strategy in action.
With the Nalunaq gold mine producing and exploration and infrastructure work advancing across Greenland, Amaroq enters its next stage of growth from a more prominent position in international capital markets.
