Amaroq Ltd. has reported further high-grade underground drilling results from its Nalunaq gold mine in southern Greenland, strengthening the company’s confidence in its near-term production plans.
Results were returned from 37 holes drilled from the 802 and 773 levels to improve geological confidence in 37 planned stopes ahead of mining. Amaroq said the Main Vein intersections averaged 42.8 grams of gold per tonne.
Sixteen of the 37 holes returned grades above 30 g/t gold, while 30 percent produced results above 60 g/t. The leading intersections included:
- 132.5 g/t gold over 0.50 meters
- 132.0 g/t over 0.50 meters
- 113.5 g/t over 0.60 meters
- 104.5 g/t over 0.54 meters
- 84.8 g/t over 0.83 meters
The reported intervals are narrow, generally ranging from approximately 0.5 to 1.18 meters, consistent with Nalunaq’s narrow-vein geology.

Drilling Moves Toward Untested Ground
Amaroq plans to relocate its underground drill rig to the 810 level, initially targeting western stopes within the near-term mine plan. Drilling will then move into largely untested western portions of the Main Vein from a planned exploration drive.
A separate 30-hole program at the 500 level has been completed, with most assay results still pending. Surface channel sampling is also underway across the upper sections of the mine, targeting the Main Vein and the separate 75 Vein.
Amaroq said the newly reported results were received after the cutoff for its forthcoming MRE5 mineral resource estimate and therefore will not be included in that update. MRE5 is expected shortly and has been timed with the company’s planned move from AIM to the London Stock Exchange’s Main Market.
Several intersections currently rely on analysis completed at Amaroq’s on-site laboratory. Independent fire-assay verification remains underway, and the company said no material quality-control issues have been identified.
The next Nalunaq updates are expected to include MRE5, the remaining 500-level assays and results from drilling in the western Main Vein.
